Who We Are
Spurlite was established in 2013 by former Pierlite UK’s management team with the objective of introducing new global brands, a strategy that would enable Spurlite to become an even more complete project lighting proposition.
The manufacturers represented by Spurlite, including LUG Lighting, DOT Downlights and OMS Lighting, are renowned for their design and production of high quality, performance and energy efficient lighting products, with a special focus on utilising leading edge technology within the ever-increasing LED market.

This amalgamation of such innovative and quality brands is of great benefit to lighting project specifiers, designers and installers. Such a diverse and comprehensive portfolio of products, including bespoke fittings, means Spurlite is extremely well positioned to meet the challenges and requirements of the most demanding lighting project. Whether the client requires LED or traditional lighting design and products, Spurlite has solutions to cover interior, exterior, commercial, industrial and domestic applications.
Spurlite has a team of individuals with many years experience in the lighting and electrical industry and specific expertise in the brands they represent. Included in this is an in-house team of specialists who are available to help customers with lighting design or specification issues and to clarify matters around energy efficiency and performance.
This in-house team uses the latest design software including Relux and DIALux to produce lighting designs and schemes for their clients. These designs are supported with accurate and tested lighting calculations, ensuring all schemes produced actually deliver on the claims made! They understand and adhere to industry standards and regulations, especially where energy conservation and environmental impact is concerned, and keep pace with developing and emerging technology, utilising this for greater performance and efficiency in the products used and schemes produced.
Such versatility in terms of the extensive product range and internal technical resources available means Spurlite offers its customer a total lighting solution and is effectively a ‘one stop shop’ for lighting, from the initial project conception and design through to final delivery of the luminaires.
The company’s philosophy is that of working with the customer to achieve the highest quality project designs that fulfill all requisite design briefs but always with the clients’ budget in mind. This philosophy combined the products, expertise, and determination to be at the forefront of lighting technology development, has resulted in Spurlite securing and completing many high profile and prestigious projects.
