Our History

Spurlite emerged from former lighting company, Pierlite UK, which was owned by Gerard Lighting Pty.


In 2013, the opportunity arose for the Pierlite UK management to maintain the existing supplier and partner links whilst becoming owners of their own business, and so, Spurlite was born!


These supplier and manufacturing partnerships have been developed and built upon, resulting in long-term established relationships in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australasia.


This extensive and diverse supplier network gives us the ability to source products for all requirements, including those of a bespoke nature.

Spurlite is a project based business and our aim is to offer a no nonsense approach to lighting and project design.


We specialise in the service element of our business with an in-house team of lighting designers, using the latest design software including Relux, DIALux and AutoCAD to produce lighting designs and schemes for our clients.


We offer our customers this design support with a commercial bias and work with them to achieve the highest quality project designs which fulfil all requisite design briefs, but always with the clients budget in mind.


We are confident that we have the product tiers to satisfy the most challenging tasks and are always ready to take your call.

Our Partners

We are the exclusive UK distributor for DOT Downlights, and a partner of OMS Lighting and LUG Lighting. We have key partnerships with OEM suppliers in Europe and the UK.


These manufacturers are renowned for their design and production of high performance and energy efficient lighting products, with a special focus on utilising leading edge technology within the ever-increasing LED market.


This amalgamation of such innovative and quality brands is of great benefit to lighting project specifiers, designers and installers. Having such a diverse and comprehensive portfolio of products, including bespoke fittings, means Spurlite is extremely well positioned to meet the challenges and requirements of the most demanding lighting project.

Our team utilise the latest lighting design software including Relux, DIALux and AutoCAD which, along with in-depth industry knowledge, enables us to produce lighting designs specific to a broad spectrum of projects and applications.
